Dorchester People for Peace

Monday, November 19, “Racism/War: Making Connections for Peace,”  6:30-9 PM at the Vietnamese American Community Center, 42 Charles St., Dorchester (behind the Fields Corner T station, Red Line). Refreshments. Program starts at 6:45. Cosponsored by Dorchester People for Peace (DPP) and Community Change, Inc.(CCI).  Iraq war veteran Alector Tavares, Boston Workers’ Alliance, Project HIP-HOP, District 7 Roundtable, and City Councilor Chuck Turner are on the program. There will be testimonies,  performances, short talks, discussion, and mobilizing for action to stop US war at home and abroad against poor people and people of color.  For more info, call DPP, 617-282-3783.
